Request for photos of the park

Hi there –

FoRP are taking a stall at the Saughtonhall Community Association on 16th June and we are looking for photographs to display (and we also need photos for other publicity).

If you have any of the park, park activities, flooding, or whatever, that you think might be interesting and that belong to you and you are happy for FoRP to use them for publicity purposes, please send them to Jane at friendsofroseburnpark@hotmail.co.uk (and it helps if you can say in your email that we can use them for publicity).

Thanks!

Feasibility study out for consultation

The report is here: Feasibility Report Roseburn Park Community Shelter

You can leave comments publicly on this post or email FoRP at: friendsofroseburnpark@hotmail.co.uk

Extraordinary General Meeting Cancelled

The EGM scheduled for 29 November has been cancelled because…

Awards for All, the body to whom we have applied for a grant to add an outdoor table tennis table and chess set, have indicated that changing the constitution mid-project would be problematic.

The development of the constitution for the purposes of becoming a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation will therefore be postponed.

FoRP Extraordinary General Meeting to agree revised constitution 29 Nov 7pm

From the secretary:

Friends of Roseburn Park are in the process of applying for charitable status which requires us to adopt a new constitution.  Please see the attached revision.

The management committee have listened to feedback from members  and  reviewed the proposed constitution. You will note that this is a much slimmer version than the previous one.

Please let us know if you have any comments on the revised version.

We are holding an EGM with the aim of approving the new constitution on Thursday 29th November at 7pm in the Dove coffee lounge, Murrayfield Parish Church, 2b Ormidale Terrace.

Please join us there to hear an update on the park and share your views. Here is the revised proposed constitution:
